Nigerian striker Anthony Nwakaeme has returned to Turkish Süper Lig team Trabzonspor, reports DAILY POST.
The Black Sea Storm announced Nwakaeme’s return on its official media channels.
The 34-year-old left Trabzonspor on a free transfer in 2022 to join the Saudi Arabian professional football club Al Fayha.
During his first spell at the club, the powerful striker scored 47 goals and provided 40 assists in 145 games.
Nwakaeme helped Trabzonspor win the league title in the 2021/22 season.
He played 55 games for Al Fayha, scoring 15 goals and providing eight assists.
The former Hapoel Be’er Sheva player from Israel also returns to Trabzonspor as a free agent after the expiration of his two-year contract with Al Fayha.
Trabzonspor finished third in the Turkish Süper Lig last season.
