The Blues could orchestrate a revamp this summer.
Initially, the consensus was that Chelsea were under pressure to make sales before the end of this month or risk PSR sanctions, with the Premier League only allowing clubs to make a loss of £105m over a rolling three-year period.
However, the assumption is that Todd Boehly and Co. will not miss the deadline and meet the financial requirements for this calendar year. However, they will need to trade players before the June 30, 2025 deadline, and there are many who are on the transfer list.

Thiago Silva has already left for Fluminese and said goodbye to the fans at Stamford Bridge after four years of loyal service. Chelsea have also agreed to sell Ian Maatsen to Aston Villawith Unai Emery’s side beating Borussia Dortmund in the race for their exciting young left-back.
After Maatsen, Romelu Lukaku, Armando Broja, Conor Gallagher, Malang Sarr, Trevoh Chalobah, Omari Hutchinson and Conor Gallagher have also been linked with a possible Chelsea exit. Indeed, new boss Enzo Maresca could watch as co-sporting directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley organize a major overhaul.
“We’re likely to leave Chelsea this summer, especially with the players currently on loan.” said Fabrizio Romano on the latest Stamford Bridge departures to GiveMeSport.
“As previously reported, the plan is to sell Armando Broja as soon as he returns from his loan at Fulham and Hakim Ziyech has probably already played his last game for Chelsea. With the others, we will have to wait and see what happens.”
Real Madrid has Kepa Arrizabalaga in its sights as a replacement for Andriy Lunin
According to reports from Spain, there also seems to be a good opportunity for Chelsea to offload goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The £146,000 per week The goalkeeper spent last season on loan at the Bernabeu and it is believed that Ancelotti wants to work with him again next season. A Spanish media source reports that Real Madrid have targeted Kepa to replace Andriy Lunin – who often competed with the 29-year-old for a place between the posts.
Lunin made 32 appearances for Madrid in all competitions last season, but the Ukrainian star’s contract expires next year and there are no signs of an agreement on new terms. Madrid’s management apparently see Kepa as the ideal solution if they have to offload Lunin this summer, and Chelsea would also be getting rid of a top earner.
Kepa appears determined to leave Chelsea and rumours suggest he is planning crucial talks with Maresca to that end, so this transfer would be a welcome one for everyone.
