Mason Greenwood is attracting a lot of interest this summer and the Manchester United striker’s future is a big topic of conversation as the summer transfer window continues.
The Manchester United man spent the entire 2023/24 season on loan at La Liga side Getafe, where he scored ten goals, and the Spanish outfit have made it clear that they want to keep the 22-year-old for next season as well.
While the Red Devils remain tight-lipped about his future, there is also interest from other European clubs, including Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Naples, Juventus and Lazio.

Getafe president Angel Torres mentioned Greenwood by name when discussing his club’s plans for the 2024/25 season, stressing that he has every intention of keeping the Manchester United striker for a little longer.
“We have 15 players in the squad plus Greenwood, about whom we will soon be able to announce good news and who I hope will stay for another year,” said Torres at a kit introduction. “As the press says, there are many offers and we will stick to what Manchester United says. It looks like he will stay for another year. With each passing day, more opportunities arise, but you have to be careful.”
Sources at ESPN recently suggested that Greenwood is popular with a number of Italian clubs and United are keen to clarify his future again this summer. The Red Devils have been forced to make a U-turn on 2023 after initially announcing plans to integrate him back into Erik ten Hag’s first-team plans.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the new co-owner of Manchester United, hinted in February that Greenwood could continue his career, but has since refused to comment on his plans for the striker.
“This is a new decision for us. He is a Man United player,” said the INEOS boss. “We have to look at the facts, judge fairly and take into account the values of the club. Then we will come to a decision.”
