Yesterday we reported on reports from Turkey that Fulham have been after young Besiktas player Mustafa Hekimoğlu for some time.
The 17-year-old impressed in Besiktas’ youth team, which earned him a place in the Süper Lig senior team last season.
Fulham are now in the race for the attacker and claim that they are preparing an offer for him. However, according to recent reports in the Turkish media, Fulham will face competition.
It is not known whether Besiktas is willing to sell the player this summer, but coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst is said to be keen to work with him next season.
Hekimoğlu has not yet secured a place in Besiktas’ first team, but made brief appearances in the Turkish Cup and the Conference League last season. His contract with the “Black Eagles” runs until June 2027.
