There are players that Mikel Arteta and Arsenal would rather sell than the 23-year-old.
Arteta remains a huge fan of the player and the club is not particularly keen on the midfielders available on the market this summer.
The player’s wish can be decisive.
If Smith Rowe expresses a firm desire to leave the club and Arsenal receive a reasonable offer, the club is unlikely to stand in his way.
