Wrexham face Sheffield United in the first round of the Carabao Cup, while Leeds host Middlesbrough in an all-League match and Wayne Rooney’s Plymouth face Cheltenham.

The first round of the Carabao Cup will be played in the week commencing 12 August.
Other notable fixtures include a clash in South London between EFL newcomers Bromley and AFC Wimbledon, Portsmouth versus Millwall and Chesterfield versus Derby.
When do Premier League teams enter the competition?
The first and second rounds of this year’s tournament will feature a regional draw, with the 32-team Southern Section and the 38-team Northern Section each being assigned a different team from their part of the country.
Luton and Burnley, who finished 18th and 19th respectively in the Premier League last season, will enter the competition in the second round, as will the 13 current Premier League clubs not participating in European competitions. The remaining seven – defending champions Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United – will all enter the tournament from the third round.
