Lazio captain Ciro Immobile is ready to join Besiktas after the club’s directors arrived in Rome to complete the transfer.
The 34-year-old Italian striker failed to impress in the 2023-24 season. He appeared frustrated and less effective in the final third. In 43 appearances under Maurizio Sarri and Igor Tudor, he managed just 11 goals and one assist.

As noted by Gianluca DiMarzioBesiktas directors arrived in Rome today to finalize the deal for Immobile, who is ready to sign his new contract and leave Lazio, which will earn 3 million euros from the sale.
The 34-year-old was determined to complete the transfer to the Turkish club and even waived his June salary to reach an agreement.
During his eight years at Lazio, Immobile scored 207 goals and provided 54 assists in 340 games in all competitions, helping the club win one Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana titles.
