West Ham have started talks with Borussia Dortmund about the signing of striker Niclas Füllkrug.
West Ham are discussing terms of a deal after looking at other targets since failing to reach an agreement with Aston Villa for J.she Duran.
Interest in the Colombian striker remains but – by the looks of things – there is a big gap in valuation. The previous offer, which offered cash plus midfielder Lewis Orford, now appears to be off the table, with Orford apparently in negotiations over a new contract.
Sky Sports News It is assumed that Füllkrug is open to the change and that the personal conditions are unlikely to be a problem.
Füllkrug is entering the final two years of his contract. Last season he scored 15 goals in 43 appearances, including three in the Champions League as Dortmund reached the final.
Due to his form, the 31-year-old was called up to the German team for the 2024 European Championship and scored two goals in five appearances during the tournament.
West Ham is also interested in Villarreal forward Alexander Sorlothwho finished second in the race for LaLiga’s Golden Shoe last season – one goal behind Girona’s Artme Dovbyk.
The 28-year-old Sorloth scored 23 goals in the league and three more in the Europa League.
West Ham in advanced talks over Wan Bissaka transfer
West Ham are in advanced talks with Manchester United on the engagement of the right-back Aaron Wan-Bissakawith one source claiming the clubs were close to reaching an agreement.
The club is keen to negotiate United’s valuation, which is said to be in excess of £15 million.
Wan-Bissaka has entered the final year of his contract at United and wants to explore all his options.
A transfer of Wan-Bissaka to West Ham will accelerate United’s move for the Bayern Munich right-back Noussair Mazraoui.
There is agreement on many aspects of the deal for Mazraoui. The player is very keen to make the move and personal terms should not be a problem.

The Transfer window summer 2024 officially ends on August 30th at 23:00 UK time in the Premier League and 23:30 in Scotland.
The Premier League has brought forward the deadline to align with Europe’s other major leagues. The deadlines were set following discussions with leagues in England, Germany, Italy, Spain and France.
